Eligibility Criteria

Flying Branch

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th
    OR
  • BE / B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

Ground Duty Technical Branch

Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics)

  • 12th with Physics & Mathematics (minimum 50% marks)
  • 4-year Engineering / Technology degree in relevant discipline.

Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical)

  • 12th with Physics & Mathematics (minimum 50% marks)
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Aeronautical or equivalent field.

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch

Administration & Logistics

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks.

Accounts

  • B.Com degree with minimum 60% marks.

Education

  • MBA / MCA / MA / M.Sc with minimum 50% marks.

Height Requirement

  • Male: 157.5 cm
  • Female: 152 cm

NCC Special Entry

  • NCC Air Wing Senior Division “C” Certificate with Flying Branch eligibility.

Meteorology Entry

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Selection Process

The recruitment process for AFCAT 01/2026 will include the following stages:

  1. Written Examination (AFCAT)
  2. AFSB Interview
  3. Document Verification
  4. Medical Examination

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview.

Salary Details
